Becoming a Member

Holy Scripture shows us that fellowship is being one in spirit and one in doctrine (Ephesians 4:4-6). Jesus says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20).

Redeemer Lutheran Church provides classes for instruction for both children as well as adults.  At the

completion of these classes you will have the opportunity to become a confirmed member of Redeemer Lutheran Church through the Rite of Confirmation and thus be welcomed into full Christian fellowship by a friendly, loving, and caring congregation.

  • Have you been attending worship services here at Redeemer and would like to become a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church? Then this is the class for you!

  • Have you been attending worship services at Redeemer, but are not sure what it is Lutherans believe, teach, and confess? Then this is the class for you!

  • Are you a member of Redeemer, but haven’t brushed the dust off the old catechism in some time and would like to be refreshed in the teachings of the Christian faith? Then this is the class for you!

An opportunity exists for both students and adults here at Redeemer Lutheran Church for you and your family to study the basics of what Lutherans believe, teach, and confess. They will each be held for eight sessions on Sunday afternoons from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. (schedule provided below).
